Stayed at beacon house for 2 nights and it was a fab experience. The hosts, nigel and amanda, were super friendly and helpful right from the start. Our room with the balcony had an awsome view of the harbour, it was so relaxing. Breakfast was top notch too, lots of choices and cooked to perfection. Def plan on coming back!
the steep walk up from the harbour was a bit much, and the street noise could be annoying at times.

That was wonderful small and homey hotel set in amazing area, just off a beautiful garden, the habour and the South West Coast Path. We had a delicious and absolutely superb breakfast with a slight variation and fruits, as example.

Private balconies overlooking the harbour, fine views from rooms, free parking onsite
The steep walk back to the B&B from the harbour is quite taxing!!! Limited twin room availability makes it difficult for friends wanting to stay together!!! Occasional noise complaints could disrupt a peaceful stay!!!

What a lovely stay! The room was spotless and came with a fantastic balcony view where we enjoyed our morning coffee. A minor downside was the slight noise from the street, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. If you get a chance, don’t miss the amazing breakfast and take some time to relax in the garden area! 😊

Staying in the Beautiful Double Room with Balcony offered amazing views of the harbor. The hosts prepared an excellent breakfast, with an excellent variety, including perfectly cooked bacon and good options like poached pear. Returning to the B&B from the town can be quite steep, and during peak times, the street noise was a little disruptive. Despite these minor drawbacks, the experience was enjoyable, and attention to detail was commendable.

great views but slight noise from the street
The owners offered really good assistance by arranging restaurant reservations for us. Hervé's thoughtful gesture to drive us to a restaurant saved us from a long walk. The view from our room's balcony overlooking the harbor was fine.
The street noise was somewhat noticeable at night.
